Kristin Fisher has joined CNN in July 2021, as CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As the Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she's responsible to cover everything ranging from NASA and the newly formed Space Force up until commercial space firms, as well as the advent and growth of space tourism. Kristin is the mother of two NASA astronauts. Kristin has grown up with the space industry as well as covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. Over the course of that time she covered the 2020 presidential campaign, two impeachment trial and two attempts to prevent the spread of coronavirus and two other administrations' efforts. She also was a frequent traveler with President Trump as well as Vice President Biden extensively. The trip included a shady trip to Afghanistan. Kristin was a TV local reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., where she earned the Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter before becoming a reporter for CBS in 2015. Kristin's camera skills has led her to create Field Mouse Films which specialized creating documentary-style films for corporate clients including Uber Hotels and Resorts as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at Boston University. Her current residence is Washington, D.C. with her husband and three year old daughter.
